Siri Freeman has an extensive background in banking and finance as one of the first female Executive Vice Presidents and Chief Financial Officers in banking in the state of Alabama. She started the CFO Peer Group for the Alabama Bankers Association and oversaw the banks she worked for financial functions, including accounting, audit, treasury, corporate finance, and investor relations. She also oversaw and managed all human resources, IT and operations facilities activities. Her career spans more than 30 years of varied experience in financial management, business leadership, and corporate strategy.

 

During her career she built and sold banks and oversaw multiple mergers and acquisitions and was deeply involved in her communities and charity work. Early on she was a Project Administrator for an international company in Norway (she speaks fluent Norwegian), a Regional Credit Analyst for a bank in Baldwin County, Alabama, and a Financial Analyst for the Isle of Capri Casinos in Louisiana where she was responsible for the finances of the casino, three restaurants and two hotels. Along with her daughter she also started The Bookkeeping Girls and she is a certified personal trainer who has competed in NPC body building.

Siri holds a Masters of Business Administration (University of South Alabama), and a Bachelor of Science with a major in management and a minor in marketing and later took all accounting classes (Saint Leo University) required to sit for the Certified Public Accountant exam.
